Families for Peace ad

I am really bothered by the ad Families for Peace and their friend, Cindy Sheehan have concocted. Cindy and her ilk have based much of their diatribe on what Cindy calls the fact that there was no link between Al Qaida and Iraq, that there were no weapons of mass destruction, and that Bush lied to America. They hate Bush so much they cannot see that their beloved liberals made the same assertions. They are getting lied to, that is true, but they are not Bush's lies. We can give that distinction to Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Kennedy, Pelosi, I could go on, but it would get rather boring. Here are several pieces of information showing that it wasn't just Bush, that he was using the information he was given, and that was confirmed by many who now call him a liar. May they all see the facts in front of their faces.

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." -President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 source

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." -Nancy Pelosi December 1998 source

They could read: here, here or better yet here

What did they say later? See here

I also found this letter to be very interesting. As well as this site.

I, too, am disgusted by the ad. When that woman tells Bush that he lied, that is stepping over the line.

I will pray this vicious ad backfires.

i could not believe that these ads were allowed to be aired. yes they have the right to their opinion, but saying those things about the president, and a widow asking what she shuld tell her child... it just amazes me what they say.

did her husband know that there is a possiblity that they could be in a place of danger, or maybe die? OF COURSE THEY DID!!! i did when i served our country in the navy.

dont you know the Moonbats think everyone in the military is a stupid child who was tricked into the Evil Mr Bushs Station/war wagon by promise of candy and baseball cards.

As for the ads havent seen it but I will be willing to bet it will hurt thier cause more than it will help it. They can not seem to grasp the fact that most Americans do not hate their county and are not Mad as a hatter like most of the Moonbats are.

Hers a cool drinking game we can play this weekend. Everytime the MSM inflates the number of people at the big superduper AntiAmeirca opps I mean anti war rally you have to drink.

we will be really drunk by monday lol.

GBfan

GBfan, I would be dead by Monday! I'm a real lightweight!

It just fries me every time they spout their hate and claim to support the troops! You cannot support the troops when you call them killers! Sheehan really has them brainwashed.

I know that there were quite a few of the Gold Star Families who demanded that Sheehan and her minions remove the names of their family members from their little "graveyard" that they set up at each protest.

Welcome to my blog K2 and Mark! Thanks for commenting. It's very nice to know that I am not alone in my thinking these people are getting out of hand!

I had an adverse reaction to the ad, too.

Here's a link for your collection: The Mother of All Connections.

Sincere thanks to you, k2, for your service!

Thanks for the link Gina W. I sent my dad a subscription to the Weekly Standard. They usual have great cold, hard facts to back up what they report. (unlike oh, the MSM?!)
