Culture of Corruption

I don't know about you, but I am really tired of that phrase especially when uttered by the extremely hypocritical Democratic party. They have begun to sound like a bunch of parrots. Well, here's a little bit of history for them to chew on...
According to an article by Bruce Bartlett, the actual tally of Dems vs. Republicans in regard to comparative party corruption might surprise you. The proof comes directly from the source. The House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct has been keeping records of misconduct under their roof since 1798. Bartlett added up the results by party, and the facts show: Democrats are far and wide the biggest violators of the rules of ethics.
Dave of The Paladin Blog did a count of his own and of some 70 different members of the House who have been investigated for serious offenses over the last 30 years (including many involving actual criminality and jail time), only 15 involved Republicans, with the remaining 55 involving Democrats. Interesting, yet somehow, not surprising!
