Chris Muir Does It Again!
I watched much of the Coretta Scott King's funeral and I was truly touched by what many said, including President Bush's eulogy. But I too, noticed the back stabbing and verbal jabbing that was done by many a speaker including two of the former Presidents (and one was not George Bush 41!)
This type of verbal slamming is completely uncalled for at the funeral of a woman who was so well respected by both black and white Americans. I don't have a problem with differences of opinion, but many of the things that were said by Jimmy Carter and Reverend Lowery were completely inappropriate for this somber event.
As usual Chris Muir's Day by Day cartoon has captured my feelings about it exactly. Thank you, Chris!
