I had a good show in Akron and a really good show in Hudson. The one in Akron was Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show (http://www.avantgardeshows.com/). I sold the Crab Nebula Cuff there and then the purchaser came back and bought my Reflections Cuff from my Etsy Shop! The one in Hudson was Oddmall- Emporium of the Weird (http://oddmall.info/ohio/). I sold four of my smaller pieces, had a special order for two cuffs and several inquiries regarding personalized photo cuffs. Hopefully the last will pan out.

New Stuff

Top cuff is Golden Nebula (based on golden nebula granite) and the lower one is Quadraplaid (based on my original pattern). I'm also in the process of creating several cuffs for a small art show this weekend.

Updates and Stuff

So, I've taken more photos of the beautiful blossoms in our yard. This time it's sweet white lilac and beautiful pink azaleas. In a few days I'm going to take some photos of our neighbor's miniature lilac that is so full of buds you won't be able to see the leaves when they are all fully bloomed!

On the beading front, I'm currently working on a lace (netted) cuff in turquoise and I'm debating about adding in contrast colors. I think I'll see how it goes with just the two styles of the turquoise first! I also bought some gorgeous triangle beads and seed beads that I just couldn't resist making into some bling for myself! I have the first in silvery gray using the RAW technique and I'm looking for the perfect buttons to finish this stunner in champagne AB triangle beads using two-drop peyote.

Most exciting is a huge order from one buyer who said she saw my work through another site and fell in love with my style! I'm waiting on some confirmation from her before I ship it all out to her! I'm so thrilled with this order, I hope it all goes through perfectly!

Art Fire

Well, after some thought, I've decided to give up Art Fire. Between time constraints and the economy, I just can't handle two shops at this time, therefore I've closed my Art Fire shop. I have, however decided to add my scarves to my Etsy shop, so look for those to appear very soon!

These have got to be my favorite jewelry pieces. They are so dainty and delicate. The crystals have the aurora borealis finish, so they sparkle in many colors! I really liked the way the pattern turned out when I was "playing" the day I made them. I think they would make a beautiful accent for any blushing bride!
