Sheesh, you really could have gifted it to her....she's the nice lady who brought up your husband!!!! Of course, as long as she never, ever babysat for you, I guess it's ok to make her pay.
Um, she's his step-mother, but regardless, she wouldn't take it for free. She knew how much work went into it and wouldn't accept it for nothing.
